Banana Mango...

... is what Kenzie had for dinner tonight, and she LOVED it. LOL. I knew that she loved naners, but man....if i wasn't scooping fast enough then she got MAD. hehe

Anywho....Whew where to start. This past weekend was a 3 day one for me but it was so busy! Friday i stayed home from work because Joel and his mom were both helping his aunt move out of her rented house into her new house. I didn't want Kenzie to be tying them down and stuff so i took her and we went to the YMCA water park first. She got 3 new swimsuits from Aunt Sandy that are just too cute. Two are for this year and one is for later but the two for now are from Old Navy and are little bitty bikini bottoms with a 'surfer' top. Cutnesses! She seemed more enthralled with the kids running around her than with the water itself. She did do great though. Anyways....when i got home Joel was finishing up but when he did get home we had to get ready and go to meet my grandparents for dinner. They had called on Thursday night and were driving through so we met up with them. We had a great time and they loved all over Kenzuh. She got spoiled and got 3 new toys too. Got home and Joel and I watched Gran Torino. Good movie...interesting. Saturday we got up early and took Joel to school orientation. While he was in there i went and got my car tags done and then went driving around to yard sales and a consignment shop with Joel's mom and aunt. We looked around at a great new consignment shop right near the house that is way cute and very well priced. I got a purse, a painting for the kitchen, a better sleep positioner for Kenzie (she is strong enough to roll over her old one now), a dress for 4th of July, and a summer outfit, PLUS a pearl necklace for her Dedication...all for like $19. Woot! WHen Joel got done we headed over to our friend's little boy's birthday party. It was sooo hot outside though so we were only there for about 2 hours. Long enough to see a water gun fight break out with the super soakers that we got for the boy. :) Sunday we went to church of course and had Kenzie's dedication. It went really well and it was really nice to have Joel's whole family there with us. There were 2 other babies dedicated and we were 2nd. Kenzie looked like a little porceilan doll in her white dress and was very well behaved. After church we went to TGI Fridays for lumch with the family....AND then went to Joel's work party at Churchill Downs. It was fun but yet again...HOT! Anyways....to wrap things up...we eventually got home and relaxed a little on Sunday night.
Kenzie is starting to sit up by herself really well. I am trying to sit her down more often with toys around her and then i walk away a little. Every once in a while she'll plop over but hey...trial and error right? :) She is at least trying to start to crawl too. She'll be on her belly and try to put her knees up underneath her but no success yet. i think it's party our fault though too because we sit her up or lay her down in the swing, bouncy seat, bumbo, or jumparoo all the time and never just put her on the floor to herself. So we are trying to work on doing that more often.

I'm excited for this coming weekend! Thursday i get off of work at 1:00 and then i'll come home and meet up with MIL to start working on painting our living room. It's a light green color now but so is the carpet, which i HATE. We're going to be painting it the same color as Kenzie's room since i LOVE that light brown and we still have about 1/2 gallon of it anyways. So i'll work on what i can on Thursday afternoon and we'll try to finish up on Friday. We have our pastor's 4th of July party to go to, and some friend's of ours have a party too. That one is a little more wild and crazy though so i think Kenzie will be with Gma! I have off on Monday as well so hopefully Joel and I will get a lot of time together and relax more. One of Joel's friends is in from town too so we are hoping to hang out with him some.

Well i have other things to do so i'll leave with that! Night night!

You'll have to post pics of your living room when it is done.

Have a great long weekend and a very Happy 4th!

We borrowed Gran Tarino from a friend, but haven't watched it yet. Been watching Bachelorette, 18 Kids and Counting, Tori and Dean and So You Think You Can Dance instead. :) I get annoyed with myself being such a reality TV junkie!
