5 mos....

So you can tell by my layout that we had more pics taken of Kenzie this past weekend. It was sort of a last minute thing but we'd been planning and trying to go ever since Mother's day. Time + Money to do it is a hard thing to come by simultaneously :). Anywho....we finally went and had family pics and Kenzie's pics done up. I wanted kenzie to be themed or dressed as something somehow but my niece had 'angel' pics done so i didn't want to 'copy' that. I really did love the whole wings thing though.....so i came up with the fairy idea. I got an idea to make a little skirt/tutu online and went to the craft store on Friday night to buy 6 yards of tulle, some ribbon, and some little baby sized fairy wings. I couldn't believe that they had the wings that worked sooo perfectly. :) I also can't believe that 6 yards of tulle + 1 yard of ribbon + 2 hours of work went into this little baby sized skirt LOL. Anyways....the outcome of her pics was AWESOME....

We also had family pics done and they came out pretty darn good. Too bad that Kenzie looks more like my MIL than me! lol

Happy Daddy's Day Daddoo!!

The pics were our biggest 'event' this weekend. Other than that we relaxed around the house and let daddy relax. On Sunday his mom and aunt came over and we cooked out for lunch and then Joel was allowed to do whatever he wanted....which was do nothing and just play his game on the computer, LOL. So we relaxed and watched movies and ate all day long. It was a very nice relatively relaxing weekend.

On Sunday at church they announced that we are doing a church-wide baby dedication for anyone who is interested. We of course are so now i have one week to find Kenzie a dress for the occasion. Woot! Shopping for the baby! We're excited about that though. Hopefully all of the family will come with us to church for it :)

Well i'm at work and should probably go.....lata!! :)
