A wonderful long weekend

:::Ahhh::::: this past weekend has been sooo nice. It all started when i got off of work at 1pm and Joel picked me up with Kenzie in tow. We had some shopping to do for me so we left from there and headed to BW3's for lunch and then spent the ENTIRE rest of the day shopping for me. I HAD to get a dress for the weeding on Saturday so we stayed out until i found something. Anyways, i ended up getting a dress, shoes, jewelry, new jeans, and 3 new tanks. Overall it was a successful day! Plus the jeans were free to me and then some since i sold some old stuff to Plato's closet. Woot woot! Anyways Kenzie was AWESOME all day long and barely fussed so that was great. We got home after Kenzie's bedtime so gave her a quick bath and then off to bed.

Saturday we woke up early and got ready for the day. Met Joel's mom at her church's fish fry at the local park and traded Kenzie off to her for the day/night. Headed off to the wedding from there. The wedding was at a GORGEOUS old building...as seen here (this isn't the couple or anything though LOL)

So we stayed there until all of the events were over and done with. After the wedding (which was gorgeous and awesome) we headed over to our friend's house for some drinks and conversation. Stayed out until like 12:30 or so and headed home. Sunday am was retreiving kenzie (who i missed so much!!) and church. In the afternoon we got all of our grocery shopping done (have i mentioned how much i LOVE ALDI?) and then went back to our friend's house again. We stayed there all afternoon with the girl baby and just hung out enjoying the good weather. Monday morning we got up and hung out with Joel's friend who was in town from the AF for the weekend and introduced him and his gf to Kenzinator. The rest of the day Joel slept (in preparation for going back to the night shift) and i cleaned house. I still had a lot to do to get the house ready for our house guests this week/end. Speaking of Joel's night shift though we got word on Friday that he was going back to his original night shift of 6pm to 5am. SUCKS for me but in the end it will work out better for Joel when he's in school in the fall. It's just hard for me because i won't have the help with Kenzie in the AM anymore but oh well.
Here's some pics of me and the girl before the fish fry...

Anywho....I finally took some pics of the girl's nursery all done so here's that...

My collage made of the cards from the showers....

And just some random pics from the weekend at the friend's house...

I did not like Aldi, but I had a very bad first experience!

Cute pics and the nursery looks gorgeous!

yeah you have to know how to work the Aldi with the quarter in hand, debit card, and knowing that you won't be able to buy EVERYTHING that you need. But in the end we walked out with an entire shopping cart FULL of food for $90. Not bad not bad at all

Nope not bad! The one here, well their produce stinks! It's all yucky! Yes, you have to have Aldi knowledge before going!
