This weekend was a fabulous warm and sunny one. We had 80-90 degree weather every day! It has been loverly. Friday night we helped some friends of ours move some stuff out of their old apt building and then they treated us to some pizza....DELICIOUS pizza by the way. Saturday morning we volunteered at our church with Angel Food again which was fun. Afterwards a lot of us went back over and helped unload our friend's stuff into their new apartment. I had Kenzie however so i took her with me over the the nearby mall and went to do some much needed shopping. I got to the mall and sat outside in the shade to feed kenzie her bottle. She ate it up and got into a good 'full' and happy mood. I stuck her in the carseat in the stroller (travel system) and off we went. I was really hoping that she would be good because i knew it was going to be a good 2 or 3 hours before Joel was done with helping out. Can i just say how proud i am of her for being so good!? I was able to shop around all i wanted, try stuff on, eat, and do whatever, and she was just content in her stroller! I know that she loves her stroller but i couldn't believe she was good for that long in there just sitting! I got me some shirts, her some pants, and a long past due bathing suit for me too. It was so nice to go shopping with my baby girl. I look forward to many years of having fun together. :) As weird as it is i would ask her all kinds of questions and talk to her. She is really 'googly' with her cooing and stuff now so it's like she wants to reply, but can't quite get the words out. :) She's the best kind of shopping buddy because she thinks everything you say to her is great! so everything looks good. She fell asleep at the end of the trip and slept while i finished up. She's at the point now where any fussing that she starts to do, all i have to say is 'you're alright' and soothe her a little, and she's fine. VERY helpful.
Anyways.....Joel and I spent the evening together watching Twilight...an AWESOME movie...i'm totally into it now as much as i tried to resist it.
Sunday was church, dinner at another couple's house from our church, and then grocery shopping. Ugg we spent just over $200 but really needed to do it so it was ok. Then we got home and finished watching Twilight with Kenzie just cooing away in her bouncy seat. She earned the new name 'Chief Crazy Hair' because when you spike her hair up she looks a little 'nutso.' At night Joel cooked while i got Kenzie to bed and we enjoyed the night together. Wonderful weekend but a little busy too. Next weekend we have every single day booked with...absolutely nothing. We are going to try our absolute best to stay home for once!!

I hear a lot of good things about Twilight. One of my friends loaned me one of the books to read while on bed rest, but I haven't read it. Reading a gazillion baby books instead.
LOL i don't know if you guys read Dr Suess at all but i always loved those as a kid and we have a bunch for Kenzie. My sister sent me a Dr. Seuss book to read to baby while in utero and i LOVED it. You should look into it!
Yes, Sean and I loved Dr. Seuss, too. Who doesn't as a child! :) We have I think Oh, the Places I Will Go (is that right?). What I meant by baby books is prego and parenting books, not books for babies. :)
So, I was curious....you were talking about grocery shopping. Have you looked into WIC? It REALLY helps, saves us about $80 a month. You get juice, eggs, cheese, milk, cereal, peanut butter, beans, carrots and formula. That $80 is not including formula obviously, carrots or beans, but the rest of it. You should sign up!
Well Joel and I have personal beliefs regarding government aid like WIC and stuff so we choose not to take it unless we absolutely need it. Just a personal choice but thanks!!
