Quick break...

We'll see how much i can get in here while the munchkin sleeps. I have the day off today since we didn't have anyone else to watch Kenzie. Kenzie FINALLY had her 6mo. check up last Friday and is now officially 20lbs7oz and 28.5 in.long. She's over 92nd% for height and weight and her head is like 50th %. My big girl.
I had a girl's night out with Jami and her friend Stephanie on Friday and we had a great time. Went down to 4th Street andate at TGI Fridays and then went to a few different bars. I probably drank more than i should have though. :( yikes.
Anywho...Saturday we did the grocery shopping and relaxed, watched a movie. Sunday was church and then a BATS game because our Pastor's work had a bunch of extras. It was great to get to hang out with everyone from our church and Kenzie was so well behaved. It was like 90+ degrees out but she did great. I think i was more fussy than she was!
Joel is all set and ready to start school next Monday. I can't believe it's finally here! He's sort of excited but also a little aprehensive i think because he'll be getting less sleep and lots of extra work. Hopefully when i start staying home it will really help things out though.
I'm loving being at home today and didn't mind one bit cleaning up the kitchen and doing laundry and cooking lunch. I oddly enjoy these sorts of things. Hopefully Kenzie gets a good nap now though because earlier she only slept for like 45 mins.
Well i'm gonna go and relax now for some mommy time. :::Ahhh:::: this is the life!!
